What’s available for rent right now?

Looking for a great, central location in Arlington?  This is it.  Walking distance to the new Amazon HQ complex, 2 metro stops, the County library, ball fields, and restaurants galore?  Not to mention the Pentagon, Costco, Pentagon City Mall, and Crystal City.

This is a great house for a group of 4 or more (but I rent to the whole group; this is not a boarding house where the rooms go one by one)- or for a family with a few kids.

The address?   704 S 20th Street, Arlington (22202).

704 20th St S

There are pictures of various rooms here, along with more details about the rental home. I know how to build and maintain houses in great shape, but less than an expert with cell phones and cell phone video.  Nevertheless, here’s my phone letting you walk through the house.

All the bathrooms and the kitchen were redone a few years ago; the house has been freshly painted from top to bottom.   And, I’m keeping the rent at last year’s level- $ 5400 a month.

The lease is pretty much standard Virginia rules, but there’s no smoking, water beds, or pets.  And, my lease does require you to notify me of any and all problems at once- so I can provide immediate corrective action.

As stated above, the house is rented to everyone (or to a family).  If a person wants to leave, it’s their responsibility (or the group’s) to find a replacement party that acceptable to the group and to me, the landlord.  I’ve been doing this for decades and it hasn’t been an issue.

So, why is the house available?  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic rules, the current tenants are allowed to live anywhere- not just commuting to work- so they are returning to their original home region.

I don’t meddle- but I can be easily reached, since I am but a few blocks away.
